LONDON, Dec 18 : Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Dutch and Duchess of Sussex, have released their official Christmas card, offering a rare and carefully curated look of their children, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3.
The card is adorned with six poignant images photographed from behind as they walk towards their parents, who greet them with smiles and outstretched arms.
The card bears the message, “We wish you a very happy holiday season” and highlights images of Meghan hugging a young girl and Prince Harry clasping the hand of a man lying in bed.
The Christmas cards read in full: “On behalf of the office of Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Archewell Productions and Archewell Foundation, we wish you a very happy holiday season and a joyful New Year”, according to a report by BBC.
It is for professional use, with the couple sending a different card to close friends and family which will not be shared publicly.
Since stepping down as senior royals in January 2020, Harry and Meghan have focused on their life in California, where they relocated in June 2020. They established the Archewell Foundation, dedicated to philanthropic endeavours, and Archewell Productions, which produces content for Netflix under a lucrative multimillion-dollar deal. (UNI)
