JAMMU, Apr 22: Taking the authorities concerned to task, Harsh Dev Singh, JKNPP Chairman and former Minister claimed that the government in J&K has failed to fill up even a single post during the last nine months.
Referring to the regular issuance of termination orders by the H&ME Department during the last few weeks in Jammu region, Singh said that hundreds of existing employees rendering useful services even in times of Corona pandemic have been terminated.
In a press conference here today he said that the H&ME Department seems to be on termination spree with disengagement orders of various categories of health workers being issued on day to day basis.
The Panthers Party leader pointed out that around 181 Health Department employees including staff nurses, para-medics, record keepers, X-Ray Technicians working in GMC Kathua and GMC Rajouri were terminated last month.
Seeking personal indulgence of the Lt. Governor, Singh sought immediate roll back of the termination orders and re-engagement of all disengaged workers with immediate effect.
Manju Singh, General Secretary-JKNPP was also present in the press conference.
