KATHUA, Apr 26: The people of Industrial area in Hatli More Kathua today warned to come to streets in case immediate steps were not taken to resume the drinking water in the area supply of which was hit over two months back after the tube well developed a snag.
The inhabitants of the area said that 2000 laborers and other local population is facing worst problem due to water scarcity and their pleas to the PHE authorities so far have failed to yield results.
They said the failure of authorities to resume the water supply has generated a lot of unrest among the local people and in case immediate steps are not taken to resume the water supply the people will be forced to block the National Highway.
