KATHUA Mar 11: In continuation to strict measures to thwart conspiracies of bovine smugglers, SI Vishal incharge Police Post, Hatli succeeded in foiling bovine smuggling bid and rescued five bovine animals.
Police team in the wee hours during checking at NHW Kharote Morh seized one Mahindra Tata mobile bearing Registration No PB35Q-8230 coming from Punjab and illegally carrying bovine animals. In this process police saved five bovine animals and seized the vehicle.
Police registered a case under relevant sections of law. Further investigation into the case is going on. People widely appreciated action of Kathua police.
