Hatli Police rescues 10 bovine animals

KATHUA, Apr 27: Contin-uing its endeavor to thwart  the evil designs of the bovine smugglers, Kathua Police on the directions of SSP Kathua succeeded in  foiling another  bovine smuggling bid in the jurisdiction of Police Post Hatli and rescued ten bovine animals.
Acting on a tip off, today in the wee hours, a team of Police Post Hatli led by SI Verinder Singh Incharge Police Post Hatli laid a naka near Maggar Khad.
During checking a truck bearing registration number JK02AK 5735 was found carrying bovine animals. In this process Police saved ten bovine animals being smuggled in the said vehicle.
Accordingly a case FIR No 146/2018 U/S 188 RPC, 3/5 PCA Act was registered at PS Kathua and the vehicle was seized.
Police said further investigation into the case is going on.
