JAMMU, Nov 26: On the occasion of Kartik Purnima, annual hawan was performed at Mata Chakreshwari Mandir at Doke Paloura, for peace and tranquility of world.
Jai Krishan Khar led the devotees in performance of hawan where devotees participated in large numbers including VIPs, Heads of various religious institutions as also Swami Kumarji of Geeta Satsang Muthi, Asthapans and sought the blessings of the Asthadashbuja Ckakreshawari, Mata Sharika Bhagwati.
Night long Puja and Bhajan Kirtan was performed by renowned singers and devotees. Parshad was served after Puran Ahuti.
The hawan is also being annually performed at Srinagar Shrine (Shree Shree Jagat Amba Sharika Chakreshwar Temple) on Shrika Jayanti i.e. Ashad Namavi.
