HBET organises Academic Summer Camp for poor girl students

JAMMU, June 9: Harbans Bhalla Educational Trust (HBET) today inaugurated its 9th Academic Summer Camp for poor girl students.
50 girls from classes 7th to 10th, belonging to rural and border areas of Arnia, Jourian, Gurah Slathia and Ranjari, have joined the 17-day residential camp. Fully free boarding and lodging facilities will be provided to the students during the camp.
During the camp, the girls will be provided intensive coaching on their syllabus. They will also receive lectures on life, skill development, attend educational excursions, picnics and evaluation tests. Regular health check-up of the students will be done by the doctors during the camp.
Besides, the children will take part in Yoga and sport activities organized by the Trust. The Trust will also arrange pre and post counseling sessions with the Physchology Department of Jammu University to analyze the impact of the camp on the children.
