Srinagar, July 18: High Court today closed the PIL of post 2014 floods with the information that no further directions are required.
The PIL was filed immediately after the devastating floods of 2014 for a mechanism in place to address the grievances of the flood victims of 2014.
Today the representing counsels in the PIL informed the court that no further direction is required as directions passed in the PIL since from 2014 have been implemented. “We are informed that no further direction is required as all directions have been complied with”, Division Bench of Chief Justice and Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey observed while crossing the PIL.
