JAMMU, Dec 31: High Court has deferred contempt proceedings against Sanjeev Kumar, Chairman Airport Authority of India (AAI), Anil Kumar Pathak, Member (P&A), AAI and R Prabhu, Executive Director (Pers), AAI initiated by V P Saini.
After hearing Deputy Solicitor General of India Vishal Sharma with Advocate Yatin Mahajan for the Airport Authority of India, Justice Sindhu Sharma said, “DSGI submits that the respondents have preferred LPA No.105/2022 against the impugned judgment dated 04.05.2022 passed in SWP No. 862/2009 and vide order dated 09.11.2022, Division Bench had requested the Contempt Court not to pass any coercive orders against the applicants/appellants in compliance to the judgment”.
“In view of the order dated 09.11.2022, proceedings in this contempt petition are deferred till LPA No. 105/2022 is finally adjudicated”, High Court directed.
