JAMMU, Mar 23: High Court has directed the Public Service Commission not to finalize the selection process of Lecturer Oral Medicine and Radiology.
The direction has been passed in a petition filed by Dr Imran Malik seeking quashment of the impugned Notification No. 14-PSC (DR-P) OF 2017 dated 27.11.2017 to the extent it advertises the post of Lecturer Oral Medicine and Radiology under open merit category instead of RBA category in violation of the reservation and also seeking direction to the respondents to advertise the post of Oral Medicine and Radiology under RBA category in adherence and compliance to the Reservation Rules by applying the Roster point.
After hearing Advocate Pranav Kohli with Advocate Farhan Mirza for the petitioner, Justice Tashi Rabstan issued notice with the direction to the PSC not to finalize the selection process initiated in terms of the Notification No. 14-PSC (DR-P) of 2017 dated 27.11.2017 to the extent in Oral Medicine and Radiology under open merit category instead of RBA category.
