SRINAGAR, Aug 26: High Court today directed the Chief Secretary to inquire into the deaths of infants in Anantnag district.
“CS should initiate inquiry to find why at places like Anantnag malpractices are rampant and why no disciplinary action has been taken against erring officials,” directed a division bench of chief Justice M M Kumar and Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir after examining the reports submitted by Medical Superintendent GB pant Hospital Dr Muneer Masoodi on the report of periphery hospitals in the Kashmir.
