JAMMU, Jan 17: In a petition filed by Imitaz Ahmed and others resident of district Rajouri against illegal extraction of mineral materials viz. sand and gravel by unauthorized persons from Nallah/River running across their land at Tehsil Darhal, Vacation Judge of High Court Justice Janak Raj Kotwal has directed the Deputy Commissioner Rajouri to take necessary action.
After hearing Advocate FA Natnoo appearing for the petitioners, Vacation Judge disposed of petition with the directions that petitioners shall make a detailed representation/complaint to all the respondents within 15 days from today and the respondents shall take appropriate legal action as provided under the provisions of J&K Water Resources Act, 2010 against the wrong doers within two months.
