Srinagar, Feb 17: High Court today directed the Counsel for the State to produce the draft of the bill on sealing of illegal constructions in Jammu and Srinagar cities before the court by tomorrow.
A Division Bench of the High Court comprising Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey and Justice Hasnain Masoodi directed the Counsel for the State Shah Aamir to produce the draft of the bill on sealing after he submitted that the Cabinet has approved the draft bill regarding sealing of structures in Srinagar and Jammu.
The Counsel submitted that the bill will be produced before the legislature soon.
The State Cabinet under Chief Minister had on Sunday cleared the ‘Civic Laws (Special Provisions) Bill-2014’ for freezing demolition and sealing of buildings which have come up in violation of the Master Plan in Jammu and Srinagar cities besides town of Katra.
