JAMMU, July 19: Registrar General of J&K High Court, M K Hanjura today said that Srinagar Wing of the High Court is functioning regularly and properly even during the prevailing unrest in Kashmir valley.
Mr Hanjura told EXCELSIOR that Chief Justice as well as all the Judges of the High Court are regularly taking up the listed cases and passing necessary directions/orders. “The rumors of non-functioning of the Srinagar Wing of the High Court are baseless and just aimed at sending wrong signal”, he added.
The Registrar General further said that Division Bench and Single Benches are regularly hearing the cases in order to provide respite to the litigants. “Even the District Judges are regularly holding courts at their respective place of postings”, he added.
