Srinagar, Sept 11: High Court today directed Services Selection Board (SSB) to proceed ahead with the selection process of Naib Tehsildars.
The court of Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey passed the direction for 154 post for which written test was conducted by the SSB in the month of April 29 this year.
Court granted this liberty to SSB after hearing advocate Showkat Thakur on behalf of the petitioner and Additional Advocate General Mir Suhail on behalf of SSB.
Earlier, court had prevented the Board from the process of selection on post in question but today court has held that the selection process can no more be stopped in the interest of the general public involved in the matter.
