JAMMU, Feb 27: In a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by a practicing lawyer B R Manhas challenging the J&K RTI Rules and seeking restoration of RTI Rules 2010, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice M M Kumar and Justice JP Singh issued notice to State through Chief Secretary, Secretary GAD, Secretary Law Department and State Information Commissioner through its Registrar.
The notices were accepted by Senior Additional Advocate General. The Division Bench directed the Registry to list the PIL on March 18, 2013.
