JAMMU, Sept 2: In a petition filed by one Anil Sharma seeking quashment of the order dated July 12, 2013 whereby State Accountability Commission (SAC) issued notice to the petitioner to explain his position as to why contempt proceedings in terms of Section 20 of the J&K Accountability Act 2002 be not initiated against him on account of filing of a false affidavit, Justice Bansi Lal Bhat today issued notice to Chief Secretary, SAC and complainant Dr Rehmatullah Khora returnable within one week.
The complaint was filed by Dr Rehmatullah Khora in SAC about irregularities by the officials of JKPCC in respect of allotment of contract for construction of Ganpat Bridge across the river chenab.
Advocate Pranav Kohli appeared for the petitioner.
