SRINAGAR, June 5: High Court today issued notice to the Deputy Commissioner Pulwama for violating the court order by allotting Government residence of former Member Parliament and senior National Conference leader, G N Ratanpuri to Finance Minister Haseeb Drabu.
While issuing notice to Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Neeraj Kumar, Justice Hasnain Masoodi said: “The order per se amounts to the contempt of court. Notice is issued to respondent to show cause as to why action warned under law may not be taken against him.”
Court said that cancellation of allotment of the Government residence of Ratanpuri and its allotment to Drabu is violation of High Court order of June 1. Under the order Ratanpuri, was thrown out of his Government allotted house in Pulwama on June 3.
