JAMMU, Nov 4: The State High Court has ordered grant of revised pay scale in favour of 39 employees of J&K State Financial Corporation (JKSFC) notionally with effect from January 1 , 2006.
While disposing of the petition filed by the 39 employees of the Corporation through Jawahar Lal Kaul others versus State of J&K through Commissioner Secretary Finance Department Civil Secretariat and others, Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur of the State High Court issued directives to the respondents to consider the petitioners eligible for revised pay scale notionally with effect from January 1, 2006.
The Court further observed that the petitioners will also be entitled to all retirement benefits, including gratuity etc, strictly in accordance with the rules calculated on the pay so revised.
The Court has granted three months time to the Government in implementation of the order.
