JAMMU, May 18: In a petition filed by residents of Channi Himmat against allotment of land by the Jammu and Kashmir Housing Board along Thanger Nullah for commercial purpose in violation of Master Plan, Justice Bansi Lal Bhat today issued notices to Commissioner Secretaries of Finance, Tourism, Housing and Urban Development, Divisional Commissioner, MD J&K Housing Board, Municipal Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer ERA returnable within two weeks.
In the meanwhile, High Court ordered that subject to objections from other side and till next date before the Bench status-quo vis-à-vis land retrieved by virtue of construction of Thanger Nallah into commercial site shall be maintained.
