HC quashes premature retirement of MD SRTC

JAMMU, Mar 10: High Court today quashed order of premature retirement of JS Tandon, former MD SRTC and Deepak Kumar, Booking Clerk SRTC.
While quashing the order regarding compulsory retirement, Justice Alok Aradhe, in the open court, observed, “all relevant factors which are mentioned even in the norms have not been followed in the instant case. Therefore, the decision does not apply to the obtaining factual matrix of the case”.
High Court directed the Government to reinstate the petitioners in service with all consequential benefits within one month from today. “However, the State is at liberty to hold departmental enquiry against the petitioners in accordance with law”, Justice Aradhe added.
