SRINAGAR, Sept 19: High Court has sought personal appearance of Financial Commissioner (Addl Chief Secretary) and Director General of Police for not implementing the final judgment directing therein for processing the case of petitioner for pension.
The single judge while dealing with the contempt petition filed by the petitioner who has retired recently from his services has sought personal appearance of R K Goyal (ADC) and Dilbagh Singh (DGP) on next date before the court.
Court said that no compliance report has been filed by the ADC and DGP as directed and no one was present before the court on their behalf. “…under these circumstances, this court is left with no option but to direct these officials to appear in person on next date hearing along with record of the case”, Justice Jave Iqbal directed.
The High Court had directed the authorities to deem the appointment of a prosecuting officer who has recently retired from his services from January 1993 notionally and process his case for pension though he was inducted in services in the year 2010 and was not entitled to pension as per new Government scheme.
