JAMMU, Sept 14: In a petition filed by one Om Parkash challenging the nomination of a Government officer as Director in the Citizens Cooperative Bank, High Court today issued notice to Minister for Cooperatives, Secretary Cooperative Department, Registrar Cooperative Societies and Vikas Verma, Deputy Registrar Cooperative returnable within four weeks.
After hearing Advocate Abhinav Sharma appearing for the petitioner, Justice Virender Singh also ordered that till next date before the Bench, operation of impugned order dated August 5, 2013 passed by Secretary Cooperative Department shall not be acted upon.
