HC stays closure of 45 brick kilns, 24X7 pharmacy shops in Govt hospitals

JAMMU: The State High Court today ordered the stay of 45 brick kilns and 24×7 pharmacy shops functional in the Government hospitals.

In a petition filed by the owners of 45 brick kiln units challenging the order of Regional Director State Pollution Control Board whereby Regional Director State Pollution Control Board ordered closure of their Brick Kiln Units.

Justice Tashi Rabstan of J&K High Court at Jammu Wing after hearing advocates issued notice to the State which was accepted by Deputy Advocate General who sought week’s time to file response and the Court granted it. The Court ordered and impugned notices regarding closure of Brick Kiln Units shall remain stayed.

In another petition filed by Sanyog Enterprises Pvt Ltd challenging the order of closure of his 24X7 Pharmacy Shops in Govt Hospitals, Justice Tashi Rabstan stayed the order of closure of 24X7 pharmacy shops in Government Hospitals. (AGENCIES)
