JAMMU, Oct 14: The High Court has stayed the Trial Court order against Excise Commissioner Jammu and Kashmir Rajesh Kumar Shavan.
The 2nd Additional District Court on October 12 had held the officer guilty for disobedience of the court order.
The order of the Trial Court was challenged in the High Court and Justice Tashi Rabstan, after hearing Senior Advocate Sunil Sethi with Advocates SM Choudhary, Parimoksh Seth and Navyug Sethi, stayed the order of the Trial Court.
Justice Rabstan also issued notice to respondents with the direction to file objections before next date of hearing.
“Subject to objections from the other side and till next date of hearing only, the order impugned dated 12.10.2020 shall remain stayed”, the High Court said and summoned the record from Trial Court.
