HC suspends Sub-Judge, Munsiff

JAMMU, Oct 23: State High Court today placed under suspension Vishaish Kumar Parihar, Sub-Judge Surankote and Javed Ahmad Naik, 1st Additional Munsiff Srinagar.
According to the order issued by Registrar General Suresh Sharma, Registrar Vigilance has submitted an enquiry report in respect of complaint made by Parveen Akhter, Mohd Ikhlaq Khan and other residents of Surankote wherein serious allegations have been made against Vishaish Kumar Parihar, Sub-Judge Surankote regarding his conduct, integrity, honesty and reputation.
“Full Court has accepted the enquiry report as the allegations against the officer are concerning his doubtful integrity”, the order said, adding “consequent upon the Full Court resolution Vishaish Kumar Parihar is placed under suspension with immediate effect. He will remain attached with Registrar Judicial, High Court Jammu Wing during his suspension period”.
Similarly, the Full Court has accepted the enquiry report in respect of complaint made by one Bashir Ahmed Khanday wherein serious allegations of corrupt practices and causing great loss to the State exchequer by evading stamp duty, have been made against Javeed Ahmad Naik, the then Sub-Registrar/Munsiff Pulwama and presently Ist Additional Munsiff, Srinagar.
Javeed Ahmed Naik has also been placed under suspension and he will remain attached with Registrar Judicial during his suspension period, said the order issued by Registrar General of the High Court.
