JAMMU, June 21: In a petition filed by ‘encounter specialist’ SI Shiv Kumar Sharma and his PSO Mohd Ayub seeking direction to the respondents to pay the petitioners damages to the tune of Rs 50 lakh for their illegal detention, State High Court today directed the Additional Advocate General to file objections before June 26.
After hearing Senior Advocate Sunil Sethi with Advocates Veenu Gupta and Parimoksh Seth for the petitioner, Vacation Judge of the High Court, Justice B L Bhat issued notice to the respondents. The High Court also directed AAG to procure the investigation report and file objections before June 26, 2013.
