HDFC Bank deploys Mobile ATM in Jammu

JAMMU, May 25: HDFC Bank today deployed Mobile Automated Teller Machine (ATM) to assist customers during the restrictions in Jammu city. The Mobile ATM will bring to an end the need of the people to move out of the locality to withdraw cash.
The mobile ATM was flagged of by Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, Anshul Garg in presence of senior Bank officials.
Before Jammu, the Bank has deployed such Mobile ATMs across Mumbai, New Delhi, Allahabad, Coimbatore, Chandigarh, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata and Ahmedabad to name a few.
The locations for deployment of the mobile ATMs will be identified in consultation with local authorities. All necessary precautions in terms of maintaining social distance while queueing for the ATM and sanitization are being taken care of to ensure the safety of staff and customers at these Mobile ATM. This also takes HDFC Bank’s Mobile ATM tally to 25 centres.
On this initiative, Jammu Circle head of HDFC Bank, Sachin Mahajan said, “During this difficult time, we want to do our part to help everyone ‘Stay Home and Stay Safe’. Our Mobile ATM facility will help our customers and the general public get access to easy cash withdrawal and other facilities as we stand together to curb the spread of COVID19.”
