JAMMU, May 6: A blood donation camp was organized for the third time at The Headmasters Wellness Zone Salon & Spa, High Court Road, Janipur.
All the preparations such as arrangement of blood bank bus, sanitation, refreshments, etc were made. A team of doctors and nurses from the Blood Bank, SMGS Hospital, Jammu helped in conducting the camp under the flagship of Dr Meena Sidhu. The refreshments were provided by Candy Crush Cakes, Talab Tillo.
The staff of the salon, besides the people of the city enthusiastically participated in the camp. A total of 48 units of blood were donated by the donors. The donated blood would be used for saving the lives of the injured and the sick.
One of the doctors addressed the donors, saying that the blood donation does not weaken the donors. The recovery takes place very soon. The Headmasters Wellness Zone assured further such social cause activities in future.
