JAMMU, Sept 21: The heads of various Municipal Committees (MCs) from Jammu province today held a meeting and formed a body under the name and style “Jammu Province Municipal Committee Chairman/President Association”.
All the participating members unanimously appointed Rajinder Singh Chib as acting president and Depesh Singh as acting general secretary of the Association. The meeting decided to select a formal body later.
The meeting among others was attended by Rajan Kumar Sharma, president MC Bishnah, Narinder Sharma, president MC Nowshera, Om Kant, president MC Billawar, Sumesh Sapolia, president MC Basholi, Makhan Lal, president MC Ramnagar, Ramesh Saini, president MC Arnia, Sat Pal Pappi, president MC RS Pura and Puran Chand, president, MC Bari Brahmana.
