JAMMU, June 7: A health awareness programme in collaboration with doctors and para-medical staff of Police Hospital Jammu was today organized at Battalion Headquarters IR 15th Battalion for the awareness regarding gynecological ailments and necessary treatments for women.
In the beginning, the representative of Himalaya Drug Company exhibited the achievements of great women of the world through movie displayed on the screen for the awareness of participants.
The awareness programme was attended by officers and officials of the battalion to gain the benefits of the lecture delivered by Doctor Manjusha Bajaj, Gynaecologist of Police Hospital Jammu who briefed the women officers and officials about the VD and the diseases caused in the different age groups and its prevention which was followed by OPD session for consultation and providing on spot treatment, medicines and diagnosis to the women officers and officials for the remedial health measures.
Anita Sharma, SP Commandant IRP 15the Battalion thanked the Drug Company and Medical Superintendent of Police Hospital Jammu, Doctor and other para medical staff of police hospital Jammu and other participants and also urged the drug company to organize such programmes in future also.
