JAMMU, Oct 6: Health Awareness week organised by 166 Battalion, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), concluded today at its headquarters in Channi Himmat.
The aim of the programme was to spread awareness among troops towards various health related issues.
During the week long awareness camp, various events were organised including Lecture on prevailing health related issues and facilities available in force, Medical checkups, Review of chronicle patients, Review of medical checkups, Hygienic and sanitation of camping area and Better messing arrangements.
The camp was successfully conducted by Commandant, Vinay Anand Prakash and Chief Medical Officer (CMO).
While speaking, Commandant said that good health has more importance for troops to tackle various challenges. He emphasized on regular exercise, Yoga and balanced diet for enjoying a good health.
Earlier, on the commencing day of the camp, Sushil Kumar Sharma, HoD, Cardiology Department, GMC, gave suggestions and tips to the force personnel to keep the heart related diseases away.
