JAMMU, Jan 25: Corporator, Ward Number 36 of Jammu Municipal Corporation, Subhash Sharma distributed health cards under the Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana among inhabitants of the Ward.
The sanctioned health cards were distributed by the Corporator among 456 families of the Ward in the presence of CMO Jammu and his team.
“Prime Minister Modi launched PM Jan Arogya Yojana on September 23, 2018 from Jharkhand with the sole aim to build a healthy nation and today we are distributing the cards for beneficiaries of our Ward,” said Sharma.
He said under this health card provides a health cover of Rs 5 lakh per family per annum and the beneficiaries can avail cashless treatment throughout India.
