SAMBA, Oct 12: A Health Mela under ‘Aayushman Bhavya’ campaign was organized today at Accidental Hospital (AH) Ghagwal in collaboration with AIIMS Vijaypur.
The Camp was inaugurated by CMO Samba, accompanied by BMO Nud, Incharge AH Ghagwal along with BDC and DDC Chairman and all PRI members.
A team of doctors from the AIIMS consisting of Endocrinologist, Trauma Medicine, Gastro Surgeon and General Physician examined about 200 patients during the Camp.
Awareness was also imparted to the general public about the ‘Aayushman Bhavya’ campaign and services being provided under this umbrella.
The Health educators gave awareness on TB and leprosy. The CHO created awareness among people on regular lifestyle changes, prevention of cancer, Nasha Mukt Bharat and also mental health.
Local PRIs actively participated in the programme.
