SDM, CMO, BMO attend

JAMMU, Apr 28: A Health Mela was today organized at Primary Health Centre (PHC) Utterbehni in Purmandal block of Samba district.
Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Vijaypur inaugurated the Mela in the presence of CMO Samba Dr Sanjay Turki, DDC Members, Sarpanches and Panches.
BMO Dr Shameem Ahmed welcomed the participants.
Nearly 300 people attended the Mela and availed benefits of stalls.
Services provided in the Mela include registration of Ayushman Bharat Card. ABHA IDs generated on distribution, NCD screening, free diagnostics and free medicines, yoga sessions, awareness on National Health Programme, cataract screening, dental examination, RBSK screening, General OPD Services, Maternal and Child Health, Family Planning, breastfeeding, Adolescent Health counselling etc.
Department of AYUSH, ICDS, Social Welfare, Food Safety, Education etc also assisted in the Mela.
