JAMMU, June 11: Ten-day Yog Shivir and summer camp has been organised by Shri Ram Chandra Mission, Heartfulness Institute, in collaboration with Patanjali.
It was inaugurated today by Dr Shreyansh Kumar Jain, Chairman, Indian Yoga Association at Seohrra, Camp Gol Gujral Jammu. During the camp participants will practice free Yoga, free Ayurvedic medical consultation, free Heartfulness Meditation, free polarity healing- a remedy to balance and realign the ethereal and physical body and Brighter mind classes for 5-15 years old children. The camp will conclude on June 21 as International Yoga Day.
After inaugurating the camp, Shreyansh Jain appreciated both Patanjali Yogpeeth and Heartfulness Yoga and Meditation Institute for organising such events for the benefit of public at large. He said that being a pioneer in physical yoga and Ayurved, Patanjali Yogpeeth has already been serving the society and spreading the benefits of Yoga and Ayurved worldwide.
Heartfulness Institute has been running such classes during vacations for the benefit of students. It helps them to realise their potential, boost confidence, stay positive and overcome undue stress. This camp is in continuation with series of Heartfulness workshops being organised by Shri Ram Chandra Mission and Heartfulness Institute in collaboration with several organisations like Pathajali Yogpeeth, the Ministry of Culture Govt of India under the program Har Dil Dhyan, Har Din Dhyan.
During the Technical Sessions, brief introduction to Yoga and some stretching exercises as well as Pranayam was given by Dr Arun Jandial while Heartfulness Relaxation was conducted by Dr Kanti Rekha followed by Heartfulness Mediation session by Rachpal Singh Manhas. Advocate Ashwani Thakur briefed the audience about Heartfulness practices including Meditation on Heart, rejuvenation and connecting to the source. Deepak Sharma, Rajya Prabhari Patanjali Yogpeeth, Jammu and Kashmir, Leh, announced setting up of free Ayurvedic consultation centre in the Ashram to be run by Patanjali.
Registration for the camp is being done at the Heartfulness Institute Sehora Gol Gujral Jammu, through google link, https://forms.gle/kS4duikqfDF39mKF9 and the timing will remain 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
The function concluded with vote of thanks given by Sourabh Sharma, zonal cordinator Jammu and Kashmir, Leh.
