JAMMU, Aug 27: Pakistan army today again violated ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch sector.
Sources said Pakistan army resorted to heavy mortar shelling and firing in Poonch sector at 6.30 pm.
Indian troops retaliated strongly and effectively, leading to exchanges that continued till 8 pm.
However, there was no report of any casualty or damage on the Indian side.
Casualties or damage, if any, on Pakistan side couldn’t be ascertained immediately.
