Calls for increase in duration next year

JAMMU, Sept 6: The Sarv Shakti Sewak Sanstha (SSSS) expressed gratitude to the Lt Governor led UT administration and police for the success of the recently concluded Shri Machail Mata Yatra which witnessed a huge response from devotees.
Around 2 lakh pilgrims offered prayers to holy deity during 43 day long yatra. Sanstha urged the Lieutenant Governor to reduce the helicopter fare and increase the duration of Shri Machail Yatra next year.
Addressing a press conference, Sarv Shakti Sewak Sanstha Vice President Raj Kumar thanked the Lt Governor, Director General of Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh, Addll Director General of Police (ADGP) Mukesh Singh, Div Com Jammu Ramesh Kumar and DC Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav for smooth and successful Machail yatra. Besides these, SSS Sanstha Vice President thanked everyone who undertook the pilgrimage in a large number and with great devotion.
He said, “Above all this year, the Machail Mata Yatra achieved unprecedented success, largely attributed to the blessing of Maa Chandi, her Holiness and the comprehensive and tireless efforts of the administration.”
Expressing gratitude towards district administration, he said, “This year the road and bridge improvements made the Yatra more accessible and efficient, attracting a significant number of Yatris.
