LEH, Mar 23: The representatives of parents of students of private schools of Zanskar have urged the administration to provide helicopter service for stranded teachers belonging to Zanskar.
In a letter written to the SDM Zanskar, the representatives alleged that the teachers of various private schools of Zanskar namely Lamdom Model High School Ufti, Marpaling Lamdom School Stongday and SECPAD School Karsha are strucked in Leh for last many days due to which the managing committees of the said schools have declared the school closed till the opening of Kargil Zanskar Road while the students are suffering.
The representatives urged the SDM to provide helicopter service for stranded teachers to defuse the situation in the interest of the students.
