The maiden session of the IVRS under Hello Kishtwar was taken today on Tuesday which received an overwhelming response, with a total of 79 calls received on IVRS phone number 8470-800-900 by Senior & District Officers of District & Police Administration within a span of one hour from 11 pm to 12 noon.
Significantly, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar personally attended the calls on phone number 8470-800-900 and patiently listened to the grievances of the people. After noting down the queries and grievances, he assured the callers for prompt redressal. Deputy Commissioner forwarded them to the concerned officers through the IVRS portal for time-bound redressal.
SSP Kishtwar also received 03 calls on the IVRS and promptly responded to the callers through proper address.
Meanwhile ADC, ADDC, CEO, CMO, CHO, CAO & AD Food Supplies also responded to the callers on IVRS.
To ensure transparency and accountability and easing the deliverance System, all the callers received a unique Grievance ID via SMS, which they can use to track the progress of their complaint on the district administration’s website link provided at https://kishtwar.nic.in/hello-kishtwar/.
The “Hello Kishtwar” IVRS is a significant step towards providing quick and efficient redressal of public grievances of people of far flung areas who cannot afford attending the district offices off & on. It will help bridge the gap between the district administration and the people living in remote areas, enabling them to voice their concerns and receive timely solutions.
