JAMMU, May 9: Filmmakers Tariq Khan and Rahat Kazmi, playing lead role opposite popular TV actress, Helly Shah, in feature film ‘Kaya Palat’, talked about their latest project and the reason for casting Helly.
The film is directed by Shoaib Nikash Shah and is co-written by Rahat Kazmi and co-produced by Oscar winner Marc Baschet.
Producer Tariq Khan said that choosing Helly Shah was a wise choice totally on the basis of her acting skills.
“She is totally involved in the script and her performance is going to be memorable for the audience,” he said adding that Helly is known for her projects such as ‘Swaragini’, ‘Devanshi’, ‘Sufiyana Pyaar Mera’ and ‘Ishq Mein Marjawan 2’.
Tariq further talked about the actress and the movie ‘Kaya Palat’ is her film as an actor. The film involves several deep layers inside which the audience will watch in near future.

Independent Musician and Singer, Rohil Bhatia and Mir Sawr Rajeev Rana, Swarupa Ghosh and Azmit Satish Bhat are also playing important roles in the film.
The film has been produced by Rahat Kazmi Films and Tera Entertainment in association with Zeba Sajed.
