Helpline Humanity organizes Youth Parliament

JAMMU, June 20: Helpline Humanity Youth Club Jagti in association with Nehru Yuva Kendra Jammu Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Government of India organized a Youth Parliament at Jagti township in Nagrota today.
On the occasion Kavinder Gupta, Speaker, State Assembly was the chief guest and T.N Bhat president BJP Kashmiri Displaced Unit and S S Kashyab Deputy Director NYK Jammu were the guests of honour.
The programme was inaugurated by Kavinder Gupta and it was followed by welcome address of Sameer Ji Chairman Helpline Humanity.
In his address Kavinder Gupta appreciated the efforts of the Nehru Yuva Kendra Jammu and Helpline Humanity who were in the service of humanity. He hoped that the organization will further strengthen their will to help the needy children and youth for their bright future. He also promised every possible help in this regard to the organization.
Mr Gupta said that he personally knows problems faced by displaced people from last 25 years. He said the Government of India as well as State Government is committed to solve all problems faced by the displaced people. He gave the instructions to the concerned Department to solve the problems immediately without delay.
On the occasion the resource person S L Pandita ex Apex member gave the information different schemes launched by the Government of India.
T. N Bhat president BJP Displaced Unit highlighted the various problems faced by the displaced people. He demanded the special police recruitment rally at Jagti and restoring of RBA status to displaced people, implementation of employment package, compensation of damaged property and removal of encroachments.
S S Kashyab Deputy Director NYK Jammu addressed the function and stressed on launching of mass awakening campaign for participation of youth in nation development.
Ashok Sahani, Pinto Ji and Roshan Lal also addressed the function.
