JAMMU, May 30: Heritage School Jammu organized an impressive function in the school premises, here today.
A new Students Council of promising bunch of students with immense potential and outstanding leadership qualities was formed during the function.
The management, staff and parents encouraged the students with their munificent presence on the occasion.
The programme commenced with the welcome speech followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the dignitaries on the ocasion. The new Council Body members in their graceful uniform were sworn in by Mahendra Kanwar, the Vice- Principal of the school.
Stressing upon the power of fair and democratic elections, the chairperson advised the young torch bearers of the school to live up to the expectations of all around.
The Principal, in his inspiring speech advised the students to maintain decorum and discipline to go ahead with positive thoughts and positive contributions to make India shine.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Archana Sharma.
