Srinagar, Mar 21: Security forces today busted a sophisticated underground hideout in the Pehlipora area of Dachigam forests.
An official said that intelligence inputs hinted militant movement in the upper reaches of Pehlipora, prompting a joint operation by the Special Operations Group (SOG) Srinagar and the 50 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) to launch an operation.

He said that during the operation, security forces uncovered a bunker-type hideout stocked with logistics. “The terrorists had already vacated the site by the time our team arrived,” he said, adding that efforts are underway to track them.
