Hideout busted in Sopore

Srinagar, Nov 30: Security forces today busted a militant hideout in North Kashmir’s Sopore area and recovered arms and ammunition and war like stores.
Army’s 32 RR and Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police launched an operation in Dalri forest area of North Kashmir’s Sopore area and busted a militant hideout.
Two AK 47 rifles, 3 RPC rounds, 2000 AK rounds, 3 radio sets and other war like stores, food items and clothing were recovered from the hideout.
In the meantime, Chowkidar of Gonikhan market in Srinagar averted a fire in the market last night. Chowkidar noticed that some miscreants sprinkled petrol on some shops and he raised alarm. Police, men and machinery and Fire & Emergency Service was rushed to the area to prevent fire.
And today security forces cordoned off the area in search of miscreants. However, no one was arrested.
