NEW DELHI, Mar 7: IC-814 hijacker Zahoor Mistry has been killed in Karachi, say Pakistan Intelligence sources.
Zahoor Mistry alias Zahid Akhund was living in Karachi under the new identity of Zahid Akhund for last several years.
Top Jaish-e-Mohammad leadership, including Rauf Asgar, attended the funeral prayer for Akhund in Karachi. Asgar is the operational chief of JeM and brother of Jaish chief Masood Azhar.
One of the five terrorists who hijacked IC-814 in 1999, Zahoor Mistry alias Zahid Akhund, was killed in Karachi city on March 1.
Mistry was living in Karachi under the new identity of Zahid Akhund for last several years. Akhund was owner of Crescent Furniture which was inside Akhtar Colony in Karachi. (Agencies)
