JAMMU, May 10: Deputy Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh (HP) Mukesh Agnihotri today took a brief tour of the Dam Complex of Chamera-I Power Station of NHPC.
On his arrival at the Dam Complex, the Deputy CM was received by Suprakash Adhikari, Chief of Power Station, by presenting him with a planter. Thereafter, Adhikari felicitated the Deputy CM by presenting him with Himachali cap, Chamba thal and a shawl.
Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Dalhousie, DS Thakur, MLA Churah Dr Hansraj, former MLA of Dalhousie Asha Kumari, Deputy Commissioner Chamba and Police Commissioner of Chamba and Chamera Power Station-I were also present.
On the occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister was explained about various components of the Dam. Other information related to Chamera Power Station-I was also shared with Agnihotri.
The Deputy Chief Minister took pride in the efforts being made by NHPC in the field of power generation and development of Himachal Pradesh.
