Hindi play ‘Kali Doop’ staged

REASI, Mar 17: On the concluding day of Drama Festival, Rajneesh Gupta’s Hindi play ‘Kali Doop’ was staged by theatre group—Triple ‘A’ Performing Arts, here today.
The Drama Festival is being organized by J&K Academy of Art, Culture & Languages and was jointly directed by Poonam and Parveen Akhtar.
Suchit Tyagi, Sr. Commandant CISF Jyotipuram was the chief guest on the occasion while Usha Jamwal eminent cultural activist presided over the function and Sushma Tyagi renowned theatre personality from New Delhi was the special guest.
The artist who performed in the play were Deepak Singh, Poonam Rani and Mohd Umer Qureshi while music in the play was given by Kamal Chandpuri and Raja Aamir Khan, the set was designed by Parveen Akhtar, make-up by Raja Aamir Khan, costumes by Tabraz Khan, lights by Shadab and Neeraj Kesar while Rashad Khan and Rekha Devi were Production Managers.
Play ‘Kali Doop’ extracts the inner feelings and emotions of those parents who are living a gloomy and wretched life as their children have been settled abroad and they are bound to wait for them for an unknown period.
