Hindi play ‘Kis Ka Haath’ staged by Sangam Theatre Group

Sangam Theatre Group, Reasi, staged a three act Hindi play, “Kis Ka Haath” at Annpurna Bhawan, Amba Kids Home (AKH), Panthal, here today.
The play, written by Satish Dey, was directed by M Akram Khan and assisted by Dilshad Shazi.
The whole story revolves around the mystery of the murders taken place in a home one by one. Amrit Roy, who is a central character of play, is a business man and is fond of collecting mysterious things. He believes in magic powers and has set up a library of such books.
Ranjan is his son born to first wife while his daughter Madurata, born to second wife Shamli, is engaged to Inspector Ravi. Amrit Roy purchased a hand believed to be of the black magician, Frown, of Egypt and here the twist takes place when Ranjan is murdered and the family servant Buddhu claims that the mysterious hand has done it. Meanwhile, Madurata is also murdered and Inspector Ravi gets suspicious over Buddhu.  Amrit Roy engaged a detective Pintu to trace the murderer but all in vain. Meanwhile, Shamli throws away the hand but suddenly it comes back. In the climax, Inspector Ravi catches red handed the murderer while trying to murder Amrit Roy and she is none other than
Shamli who murdered Ranjan and Madurita to take revenge from Amrit Rao’s family.
The artists who performed in the play includes Kabir Kebbu as Amrit Roy, Sonia as Shamli, Divya Sawhney as Madurita, Mohit Khajuria as Ranjan, Ashish Bhat as Durjan, Kannav Chopra as Inspector, Ravi, Dilshad Shazi as Buddhu, Satish Bhat as Chettu, Sandeep Sharma as Pintu, Sumit Sudan and Mahal Bali as Sepahi.
The makeup was done by Kannav Chopra, music was designed by Raja Amir Khan, costumes by Pooja while lights were handled by Manish Malhotra.
