JAMMU, Dec 21: In a testament to world-class healthcare in Jammu, Dr R N Sharma— a 92-year-old pioneer in surgery and one of J&K’s most respected medical stalwarts, underwent a successful hip replacement surgery at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Katra.

Dr R N Sharma, the founder and HoD Surgery at GMC Jammu and a former Professor & Chairman of Urology at SKIMS, Srinagar, has had a remarkable career distinguished by his contributions to the medical field.
The surgery was performed by Dr Vikas Padha, Senior Consultant Orthopaedics and Joint Replacement Surgeon, renowned for his skill in handling complex cases.
